In 2014, there will be no
Indian GP as the F1
 calendar does not have
a slot for the race in
addition to other reasons.
The race on Sunday saw
 Indian flavour with bhangda,
 a local dance being performed
prior to the start of the third
 Indian GP at the
Buddh International Circuit.
Sebastian Vettel who
started on pole and was
 seeking his fourth straight
 drivers title needed to
finish only fifth and higher
to clinch the F1 drivers title.
The German did exactly
that as he won his sixth
race on the trot this year
 by taking the chequered flag
 first.
Vettel joins F1 legends Juan
Manuel Fangio and Michael Schumacher to become only the third driver in the history of the
sport to win four titles in a row. He is also the youngest man to win four titles which adds to
his youngest list as he is the youngest driver to score points, lead a race, win a race, be
on pole, win a championship among other laurels.
Red Bull, Vettel's team also won the constructors championship for the fourth time. Vettel
haswon all three Indian GPs so far.
After winning the race, Vettel was congratulated by Red Bull team principal Christian Horner
as he told him, "you join the greats." The 26-year-old four time champion thanked his team
as he did doughnuts to celebrate his win.
As he celebrated his win on the winner's podium, Sebastian Vettel was joined by car designer
Adrian Newey, the man many credit as the reason why the German has enjoyed so much
 success.
Vettel did a namaste the Indian form of greeting as he saluted the crowd which was devoid
of the boo boys this time who had a few races ago made it a ritual to boo the F1 champion
 after his race wins.
With his fourth title and a dominance that reminds many F1 fans and lovers of the sport of
his countryman Michael Schumacher it seems that Sebastian Vettel has ensured his name
is in the history books as a  quadruple F1 world champion at just 26 years.
The Indian GP has given the F1 season the perfect place to crown the 2013 drivers and
constructors champions as Sebastian Vettel as Red Bull reigned supreme yet again on Indian soil.
