Amazon India today launched three new stores that cater to baby products, toys and games, and personal care and health appliances store. This brings the total number of stores to 11 after Amazon India added two new stores in August over the inaugural six stores. Amazon India says it will add more categories including home and kitchen appliances before Diwali.’
The toys and games store offers 8,500 products from more than 80 brands including Lego, Hotwheels, Funskool among others. The baby product section has over 3,000 products from more than 50 brands including Pampers, Huggies, Johnson & Johnson, Medela, Nuby, Himalaya, Pigeon, Hauck and Chicco. The personal care and health care appliances store is the smallest with 1,110 products from 60 brands like Philips, Panasonic, Omron, Accu-chek, Remington, Braun, J&J, and One Touch.
Amazon India now claims to offer over 9 million books, more than 70,000 products and over 1.7 million eBooks.
