After Volt and Slash phablets, MTV and Swipe Telecom have now tied up to launch an Android tablet named Slate, which comes with 7.85-inch display and a SIM card slot of 3G and voice calling. The tablet is priced for Rs 14,999.
The MTV Slate comes with a 7.85-inch IPS display with 1024×768 pixel resolution. Features-wise, the tablet runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and is powered by a Cortex A7 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and 1GB of RAM. Other features in the tablet include a 5-megapixel camera, a VGA front camera for video calling, 3G SIM support, connectivity through Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, a 3,200mAh battery, and 8GB of internal storage expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.
The tablet is available for pre-booking for Rs 14,999, comes with a free business cover bundled with it and is available on Swipe e-store and other online portals.
