In addition to launching the PlayStation Vita TV, Sony has also released an all new PlayStation Vita handheld which is now 20 percent thinner than its predecessor and has better battery life and is available in a bouquet of new colors.
The new PS Vita handheld measures just 15 mm and weighs in at a nimble 219 grams. Sony has replaced the OLED display with a new LCD panel, but there is no word regarding the use of its Triluminus display technology. Besides this, it has 1GB of internal memory, micro-USB charging, and Sony claims now the gaming product will offer improved battery life adding another hour of play time, rounding off at a figure of 6 hours.
