Idea Cellular has further revised its 3G data tariffs in order to promote the use of data among its smartphone as well as dongle subscribers. After other players like Airtel, Reliance, Vodafone and BSNL reduced their 3G data tariffs significantly, Idea Cellular is also starting to offer its 3G data at 2G prices, telecomtalk reports. The company had earlier also slashed 3G tariffs by up to 70 percent, from 10p/10KB to 3p/10KB. And with these new plans, Idea prepaid subscribers will now be charged at a minimum of 0.5p/10KB to 2p/10KB, depending up on the plan.
The plans start from Rs 128, which offers 1GB of free data or Rs 247 plan which gives 2GB of free data and allows making local calls (Idea to Idea) at 20p/minutes. Both the plans are valid for 30 days and on reaching the free data limit will let a user to use more data at 2p/10KB. For those who look forward to plans with greater validity period, the company is offering Rs 297 and Rs 746 plans with 60 days and 150 days validity respectively. These offers come with 1GB of free data for each month, along with slashed local call tariffs at 20p/minute. You can check the following table to know more:

Idea is offering these new 3G data plans in all nine circles where it offers 3G services including Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra & Goa, UP East & West. However, the plans might vary in terms of pricing and availability as per the circle and there are other conditions applicable as well.
